Apollo Diversified Credit Fund

The Apollo Diversified Credit Fund (CGCCX) is an interval fund focusing on generating returns through current income and capital appreciation, with an emphasis on current income, low volatility, and low market correlation. The fund predominantly invests in below-investment-grade securities, implying higher default risk. It employs a multi-asset strategy in both private and public credit, anchored on five pillars: large scale origination, private credit strategies, levered performing credit, dislocated credit, and structured credit. At least 80% of its assets are in debt securities, including high-yield and investment-grade debt, floating rate securities, derivatives, and non-US securities. As of December 2022, CGCCX managed a $392 billion portfolio across various sectors, with software, media, healthcare, hospitality, and commercial services as top sectors. Apollo's approach focuses on complex, high-conviction opportunities, spanning high-yield bonds, senior loans, and other credit strategies. While offering a diversified portfolio and modest fees, the fund carries credit risks and limited liquidity. Apollo’s expertise in credit and alternative investments, backed by an experienced team, positions the fund well in various market conditions.
